A small miniature containing the extremely rare mineral Parkinsonite in a matrix of Mendipite from its type locality at Torr Works quarry (aka Merehead quarry) at Cranmore in Somerset, England. The species is named for Reginald F.D. Parkinson, a local British mineral collector and dealer. The Parkinsonite occurs as pale pink streaks tinged slightly red following the foliation of the enveloping Mendipite. Parkinsonite is a lead molybdenum oxychloride.
