A fine small cabinet specimen of Native Copper from West Caradon mine, St. Cleer, Liskeard District, Cornwall, England.  The mine is situated just to the south west of Caradon Hill, west of Callington.  The specimen has been etched to reveal the Native Copper which pervades a milky white Quartz matrix, the remnants of which still adhere to the Copper.  The Native Copper appears to be a hackly mass, but on examination is mainly composed of individual copper crystals.  A rich specimen accompanied with the previous collector’s label.
