A beautiful thumbnail cluster of gemmy Azurite crystals, one to almost 1 cm tall, perched on a matrix of fibrous deep emerald green Malachite from the Tsumeb mine in Namibia. The Azurite occurs as diamond or lozenge-shaped crystals and when held to the light displays excellent translucency of deep electric blue. The Azurite is glassy with a brilliant lustre.
