An absolutely beautiful miniature of Cuprian Smithsonite as glassy, highly lustrous, zesty bright apple-green translucent crystals covering half the face of a plate of micro-crystallised creamy Dolomite.  The Cuprian Smithsonite forms crystals to about 5 mm on edge which are stacked on top of one another to form an impressive mound.  Although not readily apparent, the Dolomite surface is quite richly coated with very pale canary-yellow acicular Mimetite crystals.  A choice and eye-catching specimen.
