A superb display of excellent, sharply formed substantial Vanadinite crystals measuring to 1.5 cm entirely cover this wonderful cabinet specimen.  The Vanadinite crystals show the species to great form, mostly on edge, of translucent and lustrous deep maroon red to rich orange-red, thickly-set hexagonal prisms.  The specimen looks to have sat in-situ with the matrix aligned vertically.  This is apparent from the preferential coating of pinkish-tan film which covers only one side of the Vanadinite prisms. The Vanadinite covers a matrix of light creamy grey Limestone and light brick red Limonite, certainly one for a display cabinet.
