The Diepenlinchen mine at Mausbach, in Stolberg, Germany was one of the most important mines in this lead-zinc mining district, with mines dating back to Roman operations in the second and third centuries AD.  Specimens from this historic mine are seldom available and this is a good example of well crystallised Jackstraw Cerussite on an earthy orange-tan-brown Limonite matrix.  The Cerussite forms as acicular opaque creamy-white crystals to 1.5 cm long and nestle in a shallow elongated vug along one side of the specimen.
Ex. the Mineral Collection of Archduke Stephan Franz Viktor of Hungary (1817 to 1867), unfortunately the label no longer exists, but the small label bearing the catalogue number remains glued beneath the specimen, numbered 99/119.  The specimen does however come with two old hand written labels, one of which is dated “21.8.75” (21st August 1875).
