Duftite in Calcite

ID: CC18905
A most attractive miniature of opaque snowy-white Calcite crystals with nail-head terminations, lightly, and preferentially, dusted with micro-crystalline light apple-green Duftite.  The Calcite forms tall, pseudo-hexagonal prisms with each prism face alternately distorted narrow and broad.  These crystals are up to 3 cm long and lie flat against the mixed Calcite and Dolomitic matrix.  The apple-green colour of the Duftite is deliciously subtle against an otherwise almost pure white specimen.  It is displayed at a nice angle, mounted on a clear acrylic base.
