A first class specimen of well crystallised Brucite from Wood's Chrome mine at Texas, close to Little Britain Township in Lancaster County, Pennsylvania, USA.  Brucite, a magnesium hydroxide, occurs at this locality along with chromium mineralisation in serpentine.  The top surface of a large, thin and flat plate of strong white crystalline matrix is totally covered with hexagonal, pale lemon Brucite crystals up to 1.5 cm wide.  An excellent Brucite from Wood's Chrome mine, where collecting is no longer permitted.
