Native Tellurium

A very rich miniature of silvery tin-white Native Tellurium in a light to mid-grey Quartz matrix.  This specimen is from the little known Poorman mine in Boulder County, Colorado, USA.  The Tellurium occurs mainly as sub-mm plates and occasionally as larger elongated plates to a few mm long.  Tiny patches show a peacock-blue iridescence.  A rich example of the element Tellurium.
