Lustrous, inky dark bottle-green crystals of Pseudomalachite to about 2 mm richly line a 2.0 x 1.2 cm vug in a light brown iron stained milky Quartz matrix.  This specimen is from the Virneberg mine close to Rheinbreitbach in Rhineland-Palatinate, Germany and the type locality for Pseudomalachite.  A terrific small miniature.
