A milky white translucent crystal of Witherite with a steep inwardly curving dome-like habit measuring to 2.5 cm.  This sits on a druse of micro-crystallised Quartz coating a silicified Limestone.  From Cave-in-Rock mine in Hardin County, Illinois, this is a fine example of classically crystallised Witherite, the relatively rare barium carbonate.
