An old-time Pyromorphite from StrĂbro (Mies) in the Plzen Region of the Czech Republic.  Tiny, limey siskin-green Pyromorphite crystals of 2 to 5 mm long form double terminated curved barrel-shaped crystals over a light rusty iron-stained light grey matrix.  These Pyromorphite crystals are surrounded by hundreds of micro Pyromorphite crystals, probably all less than 0.2 mm.  This specimen comes with a very old handwritten label in a beautiful, if somewhat faded script, which contains plenty of information, but requires translation.
