Despite being one of the rarer zeolites, Harmotome is found as excellent crystal groups from around the Strontian mines, just north of Loch Sunart in the North West Highlands of Scotland.  This miniature has its upper surface completely covered with beautifully crystallised Harmotome, the crystals ranging from small, transparent and colourless to larger, translucent milky-white, all with a glassy, bright lustre.  It is accompanied with a Dr A. Krantz (Bonn) label containing both printed and handwritten text in German.
