$400.00   €360  £310.00 approx.

This specimen is priced in US dollars, all other prices are approximate.

ID: CC19209
A group of colourless to milky-white Calcite crystals forming nail head crystals to 1.7 cm tall, with a glassy high lustre.  From New Roskear Shaft, part of Dolcoath mine; this shaft was (and is) just north of the A30 road at Roskear, a little to the east of Camborne.  Calcite in such crystals is uncommon in Cornwall and this specimen would make an interesting addition to any Cornish collection.  The matrix is primarily flat blades of dull-black Wolframite (Hübnerite-Ferberite series) in a thin mica-rich granite with probable Cassiterite.
