Cerussite

ID: CC19234
Thick, blocky Cerussite crystals form a thick crust embedded in a 2 cm thick block of massive Galena.  From the Příbram mining district in the Czech Republic, the Cerussite forms glassy, highly reflective, thick tabular crystals of a creamy-white, varying from translucent to reasonably opaque.  Some of the Cerussite crystals around the perimeter are tinged pale salmon-pink.  A good and rich reference specimen of Cerussite from Příbram.
