Small, flattened rhombohedral milky-grey Calcite crystals form a bed of composite scalenohedral crystals to 1 cm tall over a long narrow plate of massive white Calcite.  A characteristic Calcite from Parc Mine at Llanrwst in the Gwydyr Forest area, Conwy, Wales, with a rich coverage of golden-gunmetal Marcasite crystals on the Calcite terminations and upper halves of composite crystals.
