This gorgeous, eye-catching golden-honey coloured cluster of Baryte crystals from Pöhla in the Schwarzenberg District of Erzgebirge, Saxony, Germany, is a most beautiful miniature.  The main, vertically mounted composite crystal measures 4.5 x 4 x 1 cm and grades from a translucent cloudy base reminiscent of crystallised honey turning a sugary-white, through to deep golden-yellow transparent tips.  Similar, but smaller, groups of Baryte crystals branch out from one side horizontally.  The specimen is mounted on a square, clear acrylic base.  A truly beautiful Pöhla Baryte.
