Eulytine is a rare bismuth silicate which, in this specimen, forms 1 to 2 mm, highly lustrous gemmy crystals richly scattered throughout a porous and vuggy granular Quartz matrix. From the Sauschwart mine at Neustädtel in Saxony, Germany, the Eulytine forms as excellent, modified tetrahedral orange-brown crystals, quite a rarity for this species as it is commonly found as more granular or rounded crystals at other localities. This specimen would be a fine addition to any collection of systematic species or minerals from Saxony.
