A quite rare and most attractive fluorite on Orthoclase framed with golden-yellow ‘Zinnwaldite’ mica, from the quarries on the hillside at Epprechtstein, close to Weißenstadt in Bavaria, Germany.  The Fluorite is semi-transparent and forms unusual rounded cubes, each face and edge being gently curved and smooth, with a waxy lustre.  The crystals are pale, light greyish-blue, verging on sky-blue, many with deep purple corners.  The crystals sit on a flat plate of creamy-white Orthoclase Feldspar covered with crystallised ‘Zinnwaldite’ mica.  The specimen is mounted vertically on a thick, clear acrylic base.
