A most pretty, small miniature of lilac-plum, semi-transparent Fluorite on, and intermixed with, snow-white to creamy-buff Dolomite.  From Ehrenfriedersdorf in Saxony, Germany, the Fluorite forms cubic and elongated-cubic crystals to 7 mm long with slightly frosted faces.  Their colour intensifies towards the faces giving the effect of a transparent centre and translucent rim.  The combination of plum-purples and lilacs contrasting with the Dolomite crystals makes for a terrific little miniature.
