Pyrite with Galena and Calcite

ID: CC19586
An intriguing specimen of Pyrite with Galena and Calcite from the Příbram mining district in the Central Bohemian Region of the Czech Republic.  The brassy-golden Pyrite forms five to six scalenohedral crystals, possibly a pseudomorph after Calcite, with the triangular, pyramidal tips coated in a thin film of lead-grey Galena with a dull metallic lustre.  The Galena is dusted with sub-2 mm Calcite crystals, ranging from light grey to pale flesh-pink.
