A very good representative specimen of the antimony sulphide Stibnite, form the Silberne Rose mine in the Brandholz-Goldkronach District of Bavaria, Germany.  Very fine, hair-like clumps of acicular silver-grey Stibnite crystals richly line a 3 x 1.5 cm shallow vug in a granular Quartz matrix.  The crystals average between 1 and 2 mm long and Stibnite also occurs as granular masses within the matrix.
