This quite splendid, vividly deep purple group of Fluorite crystals is from the old tin and tungsten mining district around Krásno, a locality to the SSW of Horní Slavkov in the Czech Republic.  Three primary Fluorite crystals of quite different sizes lie flat on a thin plate of colourless Quartz-encrusted matrix.  In order of size, the Fluorite crystals measure 3.0, 2.0 and 1.4 cm on edge and are primarily an intense opaque deep blackberry-purple verging on black.  Around some of their edges and surfaces, small translucent zones catch and transmit light providing rare patches of glassy bright mauve.  The faces are built from intergrown cubic lattices in attractive growth patterns.  A delightful miniature.
