An elegant and beautifully formed stellate cluster of translucent milky Calcite crystals from the Příbram District in the Central Bohemian Region of the Czech Republic.  The Calcite has formed scalenohedral crystals averaging 2 to 2.8 cm long which have a common basal origin.  From here they radiate out three dimensionally forming a hemispherical cluster.  Each crystal has attractive scale-like growth structures on every face and all terminate in a steep trigonal pyramid.  The milky white crystals are semi-lustrous with a waxy appearance.  Under LWUV the entire specimen fluoresces reasonably bright tangerine orange.  A delightfully aesthetic and perfect Calcite from Příbram.
