An impressive stack of thick, lozenge-shaped Adularia crystals aesthetically dusted in micro-crystals of light sage-green chlorite.  Adularia is a gemmy variety of potassium feldspar and this specimen is from the Bielig Valley in Valais, Switzerland.  Mounted on a clear acrylic base, the Adularia crystals are piled on top of each other culminating in a splendid 3.0 x 1.9 x 1.3 cm crystal.  A spectacular miniature of Adularia with an eye-catching pagoda-like structure.
