Native Silver

ID: CC19748
This is a great opportunity for any collector looking for an aesthetic thumbnail Native Silver from the legendary Kongsberg Mining District in Buskerud, Norway.  Arborescent Native Silver wires form a 2.1 cm high ‘S’-shaped hackly frond attached to a 4 mm wide fragment of white matrix.  The Silver has tarnished to a sooty-black with just occasional spots of silver peeking through. The specimen is mounted on a small colourless acrylic block.
