A delightful small thumbnail Iron Rose Hematite from the St. Gotthard Massif in Switzerland, with an attached cluster of glassy-white Orthoclase feldspar crystals of the variety Adularia.  The Hematite forms a nested ‘rose’ of concave hexagonal platelets with a brilliant black metallic lustre.  Exquisite!
