From the Příbram Mining District in the Central Bohemian Region of the Czech Republic, a stunning small miniature of bright silver Galena micro-crystals coating and almost completely masking a plate of crystallised Siderite.  This is yet another of those specimens which I have never seen the like of before, having spent a lifetime studying minerals (perhaps I need to get out more).  A solid plate of massive Siderite has its top surface coated with vertically orientated, curved lozenge-shaped Siderite crystals, masked sub-millimetre, lustrous metallic silver cubes and modified cubes of Galena.
