ID: CC19840
Unusual for this locality, a Carlsbad interpenetrant Orthoclase twin from the classic Schneckenstein Cliff at Kielberg in Vogtland, Saxony, Germany. This old-time specimen is free from any matrix and has clearly defined crystal faces, perhaps just a little rounded by age. The Orthoclase is an opaque dirty-white mottled with small light grey patches.
