An excellent miniature of curved blades of Siderite overgrowing a core of black Sphalerite with the entire display surface encrusted with glittering micro Quartz crystals. This is from the Příbram Mining District in the Central Bohemian Region of the Czech Republic. Where the drusy Quartz coating is missing one the very odd place, the light tan Siderite is exposed. The Siderite crystals average 1.2 to 2 cm wide and form a typical intermeshed dome, a familiar habit from this historic mining district.
