A set of three, quite different, Sceptred Quartz crystals, all with purple Amethyst heads and colourless Quartz stems, from “Berliner Hütte” in the Zillertal Alps, Schwaz District, Tyrol, Austria. The “Berliner Hütte” is a refuge at 2,042 m elevation on the Berliner Höhenweg in the Zillertal Alps Nature Park; a very grand building, more stately home than Scottish bothy! Presumably the Amethyst location is very close to this building. The three crystals measure 3.9 x 1.2 x 0.9 cm; 2.7 x 1.0 x 0.8 cm and 2.0 x 0.6 x 0.5 cm. The two larger crystals are coloured a beautiful rich Amethyst purple whereas the small crystal is the most delicate pale lavender. A choice little group.
