Väyrynenite is a vary rare manganese-beryllium phosphate and this fine specimen is from the complex granitic pegmatites near to the village of Shengus in the Haramosh Mountains of Pakistan.  A pair of ex-matrix coral-pink crystals are mounted vertically on a small acrylic base, the larger of the two measuring 2.2 cm tall.  Each crystal is perfectly terminated, and both show a good translucently, especially when backlit.  The smaller crystal has gemmy zones at one side where the crystal tapers.  This is a superb crystal thumbnail of the very rarely seen species Väyrynenite.
