A quite charming small miniature sceptre of very pale lilac Amethyst Quartz with a subtle smokiness and containing a fluid inclusion. This double terminated crystal sits atop a parallel hexagonal prism with a grey-white frosted core and a delicate flesh pink outer surface, the colour of rose Quartz.  The fluid inclusion is readily visible, especially under low magnification (say, x5) where the bubble has about 1 mm of travel.  A lovely Sceptre Quartz from the Chiredzi mining district in Zimbabwe.
