Deep lemon yellow spheroidal crystal aggregates of Prehnite richly encrust a lustrous Quartz matrix. This beautiful translucent Prehnite is from the Merelani Hills in the Manyara Region of Tanzania and forms elongated spherical clusters to over 2 cm across with a superb glassy lustre. This is a lovely example of Prehnite from the Tanzanite gem mines, one of outstanding colour and a real eye-catcher.
