A small miniature mound of stacked Fluorite crystals from the St. Day United mines at, St. Day in the parish of Gwennap, Cornwall.  The tightly intergrown cubic crystals appear pale sky blue, but are in fact colourless Fluorite but containing two more intense blue bands, both parallel to the cube edges and faces.  The zoning is further exemplified by an external matt white edging to each cube, along with white growth of Fluorite with the face growth patterns.  A beautifully blue zoned group of Fluorite crystals from Gwennap.
