An interesting and good example of the very rare mineral Stolzite, forming three small groups of colourless well-defined crystals, tinged slightly pale lemon with a brilliant silver lustre. One group of Stolzite crystals is indicated by an attached yellow pointer, but once located by this are then obvious. There are however two equally good groups of Stolzite crystals in other areas of the display face, one being close to the blunt end of the pointer. The third cluster line a hollow cubic cavity indicating some form of replacement or epimorph. The Stolzite, a lead tungstate, nestles amongst an attractive bed of translucent buff curved Siderite blades and metallic-grey Djurleite, which forms both blocky and acicular crystals. Although the spotlight is on the Stolzite, both the Siderite and Djurleite are very good examples for Tsumeb.
