Iron stained crystals of Cerussite are scattered across a rusty, chocolate-brown surface which coats a dark grey slatey matrix from Siegen in North Rhine-Westphalia, Germany.  The Cerussite occurs as broad acicular crystals to 2.5 cm long; creamy-white with a tan outer staining in part.

Ex. the Mineral Collection of Archduke Stephan Franz Viktor of Hungary (1817 to 1867), with a historic Archduke (Erzherzog) Stephan label incorporating his coat of arms.  This label measures 9.9 x 8.0 cm; it is complete (untrimmed) and is numbered 99/67.  A small label bearing this same number is glued beneath the specimen and a Carl Rumpff label, dated 1889 has been glued on one side.  The Archduke label is in very good condition but has been folded twice, leaving one vertical and one horizontal crease.
