A very rich miniature of hexagonal, bright acidic lemon-yellow lustrous Mimetite crystals lining a cavity in a gossan matrix from Guatomo mine in the Yala Province of south-west Thailand.  This locality, previously unknown to collectors, was a former lead-tin mine, but between 1996 and 1998 the now classic Mimetite specimen were recovered.  These are now highly sought specimens and this is a very pretty example.
