The N'Chwaning Mine in Southern Africa produced some of the worlds finest mineral specimens in the 1980’s with the fabulous finds of scalenohedral rhodochrosite that were found deep within the mine. This little cutie is in very good shape with sharp lustrous crystals over 1cm in length totally encrusting a manganite matrix. The crystals are fairly complex with some pretty overgrowths this is nice!
