A quite gorgeous single barley sugar coloured Baryte crystal measuring 7.3 cm long from the highly sought-after Dalmellington mine, close to the town of Frizington in West Cumbria.  This ex-matrix crystal has excellent morphology with smooth glassy faces and displays an unusual vertical internal symmetry with one half semi-transparent and the other half translucent toffee-orange-brown.  A great and highly representative Baryte from Dalmellington.   There are few tiny nicks and blemishes on the edges of the termination, but these are tiny and do not affect the aesthetic of this gorgeous miniature.
