A squat, perfectly developed pale sky-blue Beryl crystal, variety aquamarine, is attractively perched to one side of a group superbly crystallised hexagonal silver-tan Muscovite mica crystals from Sumire in the Hunza Valley, a gemstone-rich area of the famous Gilgit District in Pakistan. This region of Pakistan contains spectacular mountainous scenery with snow capped peaks and deep valleys. The Aquamarine crystal measures an impressive 2.5 to 3.5 cm tall (depending on which side it is measured) by 2.9 to 3.1 cm across flats. The lower half of the crystal is translucent and cloudy whereas the upper half is water-clear and completely gemmy. A superb miniature Aquamarine from the Hunza Valley which displays beautifully.
