A beautiful miniature of gemmy mid-emerald-green Fluorite crystals embedded in snow-white crystalline Aragonite from Diana Maria mine near to Frosterley in County Durham, England.  This specimen is from the Snowdrift Pocket (also known as the Snowstorm Pocket) due the pure white masses of drusy Aragonite which pervade the vein while lending great aesthetic contrast to the boldness of the green Fluorite.  The Fluorite crystals are scattered around the edges of a mound of botryoidal Aragonite as both single and interpenetrant twinned crystals.  This pocket and specimen were discovered in the summer of 2017.  A gorgeous gemmy Fluorite with contrasting Aragonite from Diana Maria mine.
