ID: CC20532
Gemmy deep azure-blue Azurite crystals of about 2 mm form a highly lustrous cluster in vuggy greyish-cream Cerussite. Covering about three quarters of the Cerussite is a continuous druse of micro-crystalline Arsentsumebite, sucrosic in texture and of a stunning chrome-apple green. Tsumeb is the type locality of Arsentsumebite, which was named in 1958 to describe it being the arsenate analogue of Tsumebite. An attractive and rich specimen of Arsentsumebite from Tsumeb.
