The colourfully mineralised flats which extend out across the Lady Annabella mine originally derived their mineral-rich brines from steeply dipping feeder fractures, one of these being The Bull Vein.  Covering a matrix of Galena-rich limestone, a continuous bed of light straw to pale sherry-yellow cubic Fluorite crystals average 0.7 to 1 cm on edge.  These range from slightly frosted translucent to completely transparent and gemmy crystals.  Along one edge the cubic crystals have purple tinged edges which become more apparent in stronger light.  A lovely specimen.
