Fluorite with Galena

ID: CC20622
A terrific small miniature Fluorite with Galena from the Fairy Holes Pocket at Lady Annabella mine, Eastgate, Weardale.  Sat on a small, altered ironstone matrix, two Fluorite crystals form a joint interpenetrant twin with a 1.9 x 1.7 x 1.7 cm sea-green Fluorite cube with purple colour zoning.  Paired with a roughly equant 2 cm naturally corroded lead-grey cuboctahedral Galena crystal, this makes a delightful and compact specimen.
