From The Bull Vein at Lady Annabella mine near Eastgate, Weardale, intergrown cubic Fluorite crystals form a light sherry coloured group with creamy-white frosted face centres and cores; the largest crystal measuring 3.5 x 2.8 x 2.5 cm.  On close examination, the crystals show excellent zoned lilac parallel bands, usually forming four alternating phantoms intermixed sherry-coloured Fluorite that grades to light golden-syrup yellow.  In daylight the specimen fluoresces weak lavender-blue.
