A superb single cubic crystal of acidic ivy-green Fluorite from the Poison Ivy Pocket at Lady Annabella mine rests amongst much smaller and paler crystals of around 1 cm across.  Hogging the limelight, a sub-equant 3.2 x 2.9 x 2.6 cm cube sits tilted slightly forward, aptly displaying its frosted-mossy faces which range from bottle green to creamy-peppermint, dependent on the play of light.  However, the corners and many of the edges remain gemmy spring leaf-green and, although subtle, fluoresce a delicate lilac-blue in direct daylight.  This choice specimen sits on a matrix of limonitic ironstone.
