Fluorite
ID:
CC20630
A delightful, ex-matrix, Fluorite interpenetrant twin from the Sherry Twins Pocket at Lady Annabella mine, Eastgate, with crystals measuring to 3.5 and 4 cm, although neither is complete. The colour from this pocket is primarily that of a medium sherry, although in this case, distinct lavender zoning seeps into the interiors of these near completely transparent crystals. The lavender pigmentation imparts an overall mauve-red appearance to the crystals, a colour reminiscent of Boltsburn Fluorite. A great specimen to add to the beautiful Fluorite suite which the Lady Annabella mine is gradually revealing.
