The Bull Vein has been identified as one of the primary feeders to this area of the former Eastgate quarry, now named the Lady Annabella mine. Ex-matrix, the larger crystal of this asymmetric twin measures 3.3 cm on its lonest edge and the smaller, 2.2 cm, although neither crystal is complete. Typical of The Bull Vein, the crystals are primarily transparent with a translucent clouded base and in this specimen are golden honey-yellow with delicate outer zones of pale lavender. In direct daylight the colours intensify, the specimen becoming a more equal mix of honey and lavender due to its natural fluorescence.
