This miniature leafy emerald green Fluorite from the Okorusu mine in the Otjiwarongo District of Namibia is composed of tightly intergrown modified cubic Fluorite crystals, all of cuboctahedral habit with the octahedral faces frequently larger than their cubic counterparts.   The cubic faces are mirror-smooth with a bright glassy lustre whereas the octahedral faces are stepped to form a geometrically granular texture.  Once back-lit the crystals are an intense electric lime-green containing opaque swirls and ribbons of dark blackish-purple Fluorite.  An outstanding cuboctahedral Fluorite displaying intense and striking colours from the Okorusu mine.
